Friday 5th June 2009 Launch of a New Business celebrity opening lunch
Marquee on site at a New Corporate Building Beaconsfield, Bucks. Canapés & Bowl food for 170 guests
Due to the successful launch we did for the Essex branch of this corporate company last year we were asked to open their new venue in Gerrads Cross, Bucks in June. This was a very high profile event as was the last as they invited Deputy Mayor of London, Angela Rippon, Clergy, Directors and many local dignitaries.
Magpie Catering organised not only the marquee, equipment and event logistics, but we bespoke menus for this VIP lunch working to the clients specification. This was for the food to be locally sourced, organic and fair trade. We undertook all the drinks service including cocktails both alcoholic and non alcoholic. We also worked with them on a recycle policy (as we do with all our clients) which was of high importance to this new business and was very well received.

Lizzie your team was just brilliant, we had yet another fantastic event today, and despite the ceremony running wildly over time and the weather being rubbish, all of our guests had a wonderful time and thoroughly loved the lunch. Jane and her chefs did a brilliant job creating the usual fabulous Magpie Bowls and your waiting staff were brilliant polite, helpful and hardworking. Anita is the best event manager you could ever have, we think of her as an old friend now after she has helped us with four big high profile days in the last year, each one better than the last.
I really hope you will be able to work on some menus that we can offer to our clients - I would hate to think that after today's official opening here at Chiltern we wouldn't get to work with you again. The only other alternative is for you to open up a second branch over here in Buckinghamshire and relocate all your staff to this area!!
